Originally from Mexico City, Dr. Fonseca received his PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where his research includes OCR Post Processing using Machine Learning, Reproducible Research, Augmented and Virtual Reality, and Data Analytics on Alzheimer's Disease.
